Uneven shoulder is one of the most common malalignment. The aim of this study was to compare the difference between dominant and non-dominant upper quarter function and static and dynamic balance between people with and without uneven shoulder. In this descriptive comparative study, 20 female students with uneven shoulders and 20 students with even shoulders aged 20 to 30 years were purposefully selected and compared. To evaluate the uneven shoulder, digital camera imaging and analysis with AutoCAD 2020 software were used. Also, Upper Quarter Y Balance Test (YBT-UQ) was used to measure upper quarter function and stork test and balance test were used to assess static and dynamic balance, respectively. Data were analyzed in SPSS software version22. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference between the mean function of upper quarter in inferolateral direction (p=0.048) and static balance (p=0.044) between dominant and non-dominant side in people with and without uneven shoulder, and the uneven shoulder group had lower scores than with even shoulders group, but there was no significant difference in dynamic balance (p=0.372). In general, it can be concluded that the mean difference in upper quarter function in inferolateral direction and static balance between dominant and non-dominant side of individuals with uneven shoulder is higher than those with even shoulders. The alignment of the spine and the normal position of the scapula affect the function of the shoulder girdle. Based on this, it is suggested to examine the function of the upper and lower limbs in people with uneven shoulders because, despite these results, more investigations are needed in this case.

Introduction: Lumbar Hyperlordosis (LH) is associated with lumbar muscle defects or altered muscle engagement patterns, leading to low back pain. However, the specific muscle most influential in causing this condition remains unclear. Objectives: This study aims to determine effective prescient alternative to Lumbar Hyperlordosis (LH) from muscular activity variables in stance phase of walking, in addition to discovering homogenous clusters of individuals based on the primary predictive alternative. Material and methods: The activity of Rectus Femoris (RF), Gluteus Medius (GM), and Lumbar Erector Spinae (LES) was recorded in 40 females suffering from LH while walking. Maximum activity and muscular involvement for each muscle were extracted. A multilayer perceptron artificial neural network was used to detect notable projected variables of LH. K-means clustering was then employed to identify homogeneous clusters of individuals based on the most significant predictive variable. The One-Way ANOVA test used to identify homogenous clusters. Results: The results demonstrated that RF maximum activity with an accuracy of 90.9%, was detected as the most prominent predictive variable. The One-Way ANOVA test demonstrated significant differences among the three homogeneous clusters of individuals based on Rectus Femoris maximum activity (P≤0.05). Conclusion: The classification scheme presented in this paper can describe muscle activity patterns while walking and may be useful for screening individuals suffering from Lumbar Hyperlordosis and for clinical decision-making based on clusters. The maximum activity of the Rectus Femoris is the most important factor affecting lumbar hyperlordosis, which is relevant in rehabilitation and health fields.

Background and purpose: Sports injuries are a frequent problem for athletes, and in severe cases, can lead to irreversible tissue damage, chronic pain, and restricted movement. Traditional treatments like physical therapy and surgery may not fully restore function and can prolong recovery. Regenerative medicine offers innovative approaches by leveraging the body's natural healing mechanisms. This review aims to comprehensively outline the current landscape of regenerative medicine in sports injury treatment, emphasizing its potential benefits and limitations based on recent research findings.<br />Methods: In this review, we systematically searched for relevant articles published between January 2022 and May 2024. The databases used for the literature search included Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, Web of Science (WOS), and Science Direct. The search strategy employed a combination of keywords related to "regenerative medicine," "sports injuries," "treatment efficacy," and "clinical outcomes." From the initial identification of 40 articles, 20 were excluded based on a detailed review, however applying final evaluation, resulting in 11 articles remained for analysis.<br />Findings: The findings of seven studies indicated that stem cells and platelet-rich plasma for tendon and ligament injuries can promote healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance tissue regeneration. Two other studies reported promising results for exosome therapy in managing soft tissue injuries in sports medicine. Another study highlighted the potential of microfluidic devices in revolutionizing the monitoring and optimization of athletes' performance. Additionally, a study noted that hyaluronic acid-alginate hybrid filler with hydroxyapatite-titanium nanoparticles shows promise as a new and potentially beneficial intervention for athletes requiring tissue repair and regenerative therapy.<br />Conclusion: These results suggest that cell therapy and regenerative medicine can significantly improve athletes' quality of life by accelerating recovery and enhancing tissue repair. The promising outcomes of stem cells, platelet-rich plasma, and exosome therapies indicate their potential to revolutionize sports injury treatment. Additionally, advanced technologies like microfluidic devices and hybrid fillers offer new avenues for optimizing performance. However, further research and clinical trials are necessary to fully understand their long-term efficacy and safety.

The environment and technologies are both changing. Changing environments are disappearing without the use of technology. The training environment and its services need to change, and if there is no immediate response to this issue, many services will be lost due to the inability to cope with the corona environment. <br />This study was conducted to design a thesis and dissertation counseling platform for sports science students (Coronavirus pandemic). Due to the limited presence of students and professors, especially non-native students in this course, there was a great need for this program among sports science colleagues. First, during a field interview, the platform features were identified and then database and user sections were designed in two stages. The results of this work could help provide specialized guidance and counseling services in sports science. We hope that by presenting the research-executive solution, we can play a desirable role in conducting research activities. This measure can also be fully responsive for post-COVID periods.

Mass media and cyberspace increasingly influence the advancement and promotion of both public and championship sports. In this context, this study aims to examine the role of mass media and cyberspace in economic development and employment opportunities within the sports sector, specifically focusing on East Azerbaijan Province. This research addresses the impact of media on enhancing human, financial, and infrastructural resources and its contribution to the overall development of sports. This study utilized exploratory factor analysis to identify the key factors affecting economic development and employment in sports. Before the factor analysis, the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure and Bartlett’s test of sphericity were applied to assess the appropriateness of the sample size and the intercorrelation of the variables. Additionally, model fit indices, including the Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) and Comparative Fit Index (CFI), were used to evaluate the adequacy of the structural model. The results of the factor analysis indicated that mass media and cyberspace substantially influence the development of human, financial, infrastructural, scientific, legal, and cultural resources within sports in East Azerbaijan Province. The fit indices for the structural model (GFI = 0.921, CFI = 0.893) demonstrated a good fit to the data, confirming the validity of the model. Furthermore, statistical tests revealed significant relationships between media influence and various outcomes, such as increased investment in sports, enhanced self-confidence, and the attraction of economic opportunities. The findings underscore mass media's and cyberspace's pivotal role in promoting sports at the grassroots and professional levels. The media are integral in increasing public awareness, attracting sponsorships, and fostering community engagement in sports activities. However, challenges such as unequal access to digital technologies and inadequate investment in sports infrastructure remain barriers to fully realizing the potential of media in sports development. The study concludes that for the sustainable development of sports in East Azerbaijan Province, there is a need for enhanced collaboration between the media, sports organizations, and government authorities. Long-term policies that focus on improving infrastructure and media access are essential for maximizing the benefits of mass media and cyberspace in advancing public and championship sports.

Background: The majority of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries are non-contact, occurring most frequently during landing or changing directions in sports activities. Various factors, such as biomechanical and neuromuscular variables, have been implicated in these injuries. Recent research highlights that both physical and mental fatigue might influence the risk factors for ACL injuries by altering movement patterns during high-risk maneuvers. This study aimed to investigate the effects of neuromuscular and mental fatigue on knee kinematics and potential risk factors for ACL injuries in male soccer players during landing and crossover-cutting maneuvers. <br />Methods: Thirty professional male soccer players were randomly divided into three groups: physical fatigue (n=10), mental fatigue (n=10), and control (n=10). Experimental groups performed landing and crossover-cutting maneuvers during pre- and post-fatigue states, with kinematic data collected using a seven-camera system and Cortex software. The control group underwent identical maneuvers without fatigue protocols to ensure comparability of conditions across groups. The control group underwent the same tests without implementing fatigue protocols. Statistical analysis was conducted using repeated measures ANOVA to evaluate differences across groups and conditions.<br />Results: Physical fatigue caused a significant decrease in knee flexion at initial contact (P = 0.002), while mental fatigue showed no significant effects on kinematics. Group-by-time interaction effects were observed for knee flexion (P = 0.05), with pairwise comparisons revealing significant differences only in the physical fatigue group.<br />Conclusion: Neuromuscular fatigue alters knee kinematics, increasing ACL injury risk. Coaches should prioritize training programs that enhance fatigue resistance and proper movement mechanics.
